A NEW biological science lab in the heart of native wetlands has proven a worthwhile experiment for Monash University.
The building designed by Harmer Architecture is located at the Clayton campus.
Teaching services manager Bruce Weir said students thought the new lab was a fantastic addition to the university.
“This building with its innovative design features a fully-equipped laboratory, outdoor sinks and many other excellent features,” Mr Weir said.
“Students can now explore the wetlands like never before.”
He said high-definition webcams were set up around the reserve.
Flinders University’s $63 million Plaza and Student Hub has been awarded the state’s coveted top property award
FLINDERS University will go under the spotlight with Collingwood Football Club this Friday night in a bid to grab a prestigious national honour.
The university’s new $63 million Plaza and Student Hub — which took the Property Council of Australia/Rider Levett Bucknall SA Development of the Year state award last Thursday — will go head to head with the footy giants, Queensland university and government and the City of Geelong.
