Faced with aging infrastructure, outdated facilities, and an increasingly competitive tertiary education market, the University identified that the development of a space where students could gather for both learning and leisure was crucial to maintaining its place amongst Australia’s top Universities. In 2014 Flinders University embarked upon the biggest redevelopment in its 50-year history: the new $63 million Student Hub and Plaza.
