Anne KnockDirector of Development, Sydney Centre for Innovation and Learning
Northern Beaches Christian School
Anne Knock is the Director of Development at Sydney Centre for Innovation in Learning (SCIL), the innovation and research unit within NBCS. With a background in leadership and administration in education and not-for-profit sectors, Anne works with the SCIL team to develop opportunities to share the ideas and innovation generated by NBCS. In addition, she is responsible for championing the innovation DNA within the NBCS school community.
Over the last few years there has been a growing national and international interest in NBCS, the design of spaces, structure of learning and uses of technology. Anne and her team provide the link in connecting external educational and business communities with the activity inside the school.
Anne also seeks to develop the potential for organisations and individuals to connect with SCIL, especially those who are seeking new learning paradigms to inspire and engage this generation. Each year she organises and co-hosts the SCIL Vision Tour, enabling leaders to learn from international best practice in work and learning.

They blur the lines between online and face to face interactions. And they like owning their education and learning. This session will explore, planning and developing a campus that drives teaching and learning and behavioural outcomes for this generation.
